Abstract:

Purpose: The present research aimed at finding an answer to the question of the process of influence of Cyberspace on Iranian Poetry in the future, and the influence of Cyberspace on various aspects of poetry such as content, its audience, the poet, the media that published the poem, the process of composing the poem, the rights of the author, and Globalization of the Iranian poetry. Method: The Delphi technique was used to carry out this research. A group of experts comprising professors in the fields of Communication and Literature was selected. The expert’s opinions were collected and analyzed through an in-depth interview, a questionnaire based on the Likert scale, and by the execution of three stages of Delphi rounds. Findings: Accordingly, considering the content, the experts predicted that due to the impact of Cyberspace, the quality of the poetry will be reduced and consequently, the language of poetry will become simpler and close to prose and it will only reflect the daily events of life. Regarding the audience, they concluded that the audience’s selection power will be increased, however, we can differentiate between the public and professional audience. With respect to the sender, there will be no phenomenon of multi authors, and regarding the channel, the experts agreed upon Media Convergence besides, the poets’ agency in publishing their own poems will be increased. Conclusion: Experts believe that the spread of communication technologies will make censorship ineffective. This is the only case in which the group believes in the impact of technology on the future of poetry. The group of experts did not reach a consensus regarding the impact of technology on the phenomena such as publication of author’s poems as one’s original work and the Globalization of Iranian poetry, thus, analyzed these items in the framework of the human agency.

Abstract:

addiction to Cyberspace and the Internet is a behavioral addiction in which a person becomes dependent on the use of social networks or other online tools. Goldberg used the term Internet addiction disorder for the first time and introduced and identified the characteristics of people who show problems after using the Internet and classified Internet addiction as a mental disorder. Since the highest prevalence of Internet addiction is among teenagers and the active segment of society, it seems necessary to address this issue as a social harm and prevent it. On the other hand, with the spread of the Covid-19 disease and the frequent use of Internet devices by children and adolescents, we have faced more challenges in this field. By reviewing the studies done in this field, it seems that paying attention to the damage of Cyberspace on the growth dimensions of children and adolescents and in addition, the approaches adopted by parents to prevent and solve this problem can be a solution. addiction to social networks is a kind of incompatible coping with stressful life conditions and everyday problems. When a child or teenager replaces social support and in the strict sense of that, her real social network including family, kinship, work and other social groups that she is a member of with virtual networks, she actually loses psychological capital and mental health protective factors and gets more and more trapped in this addiction.

Abstract:

Background and Purpose: Several studies indicate that the socioeconomic status of parents and the prevalence of Internet and Cyberspace use have reduced children's tendency to mobility and physical activity; accordingly, the present study was conducted to investigate the relationship between Internet use and socioeconomic status of parents and the exercise tendency of primary school students. Method: The present study was descriptive-correlational study. 230 students were selected by cluster sampling from among the fourth to sixth grade students of Rasht city in the academic year 2019-2020. Internet addiction Test (Kimberly Young, 1998), Socio-Economic Status Questionnaire (Ghodratnam, 2013), and Exercise Tendency Questionnaire (Naji, 2010) were used to collect the data. Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression analysis were used to analyze the data. Results: Results of multiple regression analysis showed that the income and education level of parents predicted 0. 013 and 0. 027 of the variance of the children's exercise tendency, respectively (p <0. 05). The results of this study also showed that there is no significant relationship between the exercise tendency and addiction to Cyberspace. Conclusion: Based on the findings, it can be concluded that the socioeconomic status of parents can have direct and indirect impact on the exercise tendency level and physical activity of children.

Abstract:

Aim and Background: Nowadays, while providing extensive benefits and facilities, from various aspects, Cyberspace has been associated with issues and problems in the field of social order and security. The present study is aimed at providing a model for improving the Cyberspace users' societal security against the threats posed by addiction and committing drug crimes. Research Method: The present research was of combined and exploratory (intermingled) type. The study population in the qualitative part of the research, which was based on data theory, included library studies and reference to related documents, and conducting semi-structured interviews with 8 experts (heads of anti-cybercrime departments of the Anti-Narcotics Police and "FATA police" department of NAJA based on the principle of theoretical saturation). The quantitative section included 61 drug suspects who were arrested by the police within a certain period of time for committing the relevant crimes in Cyberspace. To calculate the reliability of the questionnaire of the qualitative section, the reliability method between two coders with the final result (76%) was used. To calculate the reliability of the quantitative section, Cronbach's alpha coefficient with the final result (0. 88) was used. In the present study, MAXQDA was used to analyze the qualitative data extracted from the semi-structured questionnaire, and SPSS was used for descriptive and inferential analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire. Findings and Conclusion: The findings of the analysis of the content of documents and interviews indicated that 3 dimensions, 12 components and 50 indicators (concepts) should be taken into account in the process of promoting social security of Cyberspace users from the perspective of addiction and drug crimes. In addition to developing the final pattern, the overall results showed that the priority of the identified dimensions in promoting social security of Cyberspace users from the perspective of addiction and drug crimes will be: 1-public prevention, 2-media literacy promotion and 3-policing prevention.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to explain tendency toward drug addiction in adolescents based on the cyberbullying victimization and psychological dysregulation. In this descriptive-correlational study 356 (197 boys and 159 girls) high school students of Miandoab city were selected in the 2018/2019 academic year, by cluster-random sampling method and completed the Iranian addiction potential scale, the psychological dysregulation inventory, as well as the cyber-aggression and cyber-victimization scale. Data were analyzed by Pearson’ s correlation coefficient as well as multiple linear regression. The results showed that there were significant correlations between cyber-aggression, cyber-victimization, and psychological dysregulation (behavioral, cognitive, and emotional) and tendency toward drug addiction in the adolescents. Also, the cyberbullying victimization and psychological dysregulation could favorably predict the tendency toward drug addiction in the adolescents. Findings of this study showed the need to pay attention to cyberbullying victimization and psychological dysregulation as important etiological factors in the tendency towards drug addiction in adolescents.

Abstract:

Background: The curious, unplanned, and aimlessly searches of students on the internet result in a type of addiction to the internet and can have negative effects on their academic performance. This study aimed to investigate the effects of Cyberspace addiction on the academic performance of nursing and midwifery students. Methods: This cross-sectional study was performed on 302 nursing and midwifery students of Golestan University of Medical Sciences, Iran. Data were collected online using the Internet addiction Test and a cell phone addiction questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and Spearman’s, Mann-Whitney, and Kruskal-Wallis tests. The statistical significance level was set at 0. 05. Results: The average score of internet addiction was 44. 61±12. 77 (at a low level), and the average score of cell phone addiction was 51. 46±14. 59 (at a moderate level). There was a significant relationship between cell phone addiction and marital status (P=0. 038) and age (P=0. 011). The average score of internet addiction was significantly higher in dormitory students than in non-dormitory students (P = 0. 011). Conclusion: Considering the existence of Cyberspace addiction among nursing and midwifery students, it is recommended to hold educational workshops to increase awareness about the consequences of this problem.
